Mosman Photography Awards Gala Presentation and Dinner

Tickets to the Gala Awards Presentation and Dinner
on Friday 7th October from 6pm to 9pm are now
available to purchase, using the link below.

Spaces are limited to 60, so be quick to secure a place.

The venue is Archie Bear on the lower level of Mosman Rowers Club
with a set menu dinner and drinks available to purchase from the bar.

The top 5 short listed entries in each section will be printed
and on display, with the winners announced on the evening.

Len Metcalf Presents

Our meeting this Thursday 1st September will be held
at Mosman Rowers Club, starting at 7.30pm.

Guest presenter is Len Metcalf, with the topic “Artistic Lens”

Len will reveal his approach to creating unique and inspiring photographs
drawing on his 40 years of experience as an artist. In this talk he shows
how thinking like an artist can help your photography practice.

This talk is full of tips on immersing yourself in your photography
and using it as a means of self expression.

Len is excited, as it’s the first time he has been able to present
face to face to a camera club, since the zoom era commenced.

Mosman Photography Awards 2022

The Gala Evening to unveil the winners of
the Mosman Photography Awards will be held
at The Mosman Rowers Club, on Friday 7th October.

Shortlisted entries will be printed and on display
for general viewing, prior to the announcement
of the category winners.

The entries will remain on exhibition in Archie Bear 
on the lower level of the Mosman Rowers Club,
to be enjoyed by casual dining visitors.

Tickets for the event will be available for purchase
closer to the date.

FCC Topshot 2022

Congratulations to Club Vice President Robin Moon who has been awarded FCC Topshot Image of The Year 2022, with her dramatic image of a storm surf, captured at Bombo earlier this year.

Also in the award circle, were club members Maribi Mazo, Louise Scambler and Sara Corlis. We lost count of the number of times that Maribi was called to the stage 👌🥂

Australian Photographic Society – 4 Nations Inter Society Competition 2022

The 4 Nations Inter-Country Competition 2022, comprised entries submitted
by the Photographic Societies of South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and Australia.

The submission by the Australian Photographic Society was
the overall winner !!! (also taking out the “Our Country” section)
